ABOUT

Corvus’ owner Derrick Lee has over 13 years of experience in engineering design and project management.

He graduated from the University of Saskatchewan’s Engineering program in 2005.

Derrick has worked in the Potash, Oil & Gas, Pulp & Paper, OSB, and Agriculture industries in Saskatchewan as a mechanical engineer, maintenance engineer, engineering manager, and consultant engineer.

Derrick has a genuine love of engineering and incorporates it into every aspect of his life.

He blends tried and tested methods with innovative concepts to develop reliable efficient solutions.

Notable projects include:

-Performing stress analysis on a brand new line of pump jacks

-Designing a low cost fence post pounder prototype and production model

-Designing a CNC welder for use on auger flighting

-Managing Lime Kiln shut down repairs

-Managing API 650 tank repairs

-Designing a lifting plan for a mining skip installation

-Designing an underground conveyor tail pulley structure

-Designing and supervising the installation of a custom hydraulically operated grizzly shuttle screen

-Designing lifting plans for sections of mobile equipment to fit through 7 different sized and shaped doors on a shaft sinking galloway

-Managing a new emergency hoist and escape capsule design project
